Британски мандат над Палестином ?е био геополитички ентитет под британском управом, издво?ен из османске ?ужне Сири?е након Првог светског рата. Британска цивилна управа у Палестини ?е тра?ала од 1920. до 1948.

Године 1917, током Првог светског рата, Велика Британи?а ?е поразила османске снаге и успоставила во?ну управу над окупираним територи?ама бивше османске Сири?е. Територи?а ?е остала под британском во?ном управом током рата и после ?ега. Британци су тражили да доби?у легитимитет за сво?у контролу над територи?ом и то су добили стица?ем мандата од Друштва народа у ?уну 1922.
